Home Coming was painted for the 2025 VA art competition in Murfreesboro TN, It placed 1st.
I'm an fine art painter and retired landscape designer located in Portland, TN. I have a passion for realism artwork and it is reflected in my paintings. Taking inspiration from the early landscape masters I try to give my pieces meaning for the viewer while expressing my awe of the natural world around us.I create 6-10 Collectable Fine Art Pieces per year. My love of painting leads my to create 10-15 lower priced Home Decor level paintings. Then there's pieces I create for family, friends and for donation. I do take commissions for certain level of paintings.I am married to a beautiful supportive wife of 40 years, father of one adult son who resides in Colorado with his lovely wife and two pups, I'm also veteran of the USAF.
